ONLINE TEXT-SOUND COMPOSITION, 2006.
A While Ago I Decided to Eat is an interactive online composition. It consists of 22 words/phrases as well as 22 voice and text loops. As more loops are clicked open the voice composition asynchronously grows and thickens, while remaining an ever harmonizing mass/mess. The work concerns eating, text, sound, time, and sexuality, and was heavily inspired by ideas regarding connections between anorexia and medieval saints who abstained from food. A While Ago I Decided to Eat came to serve as a form of pilot study to Katarina Ana Nervosa (2008).
