2018

The spring of 2018 I was invited to the participate in a group show at the exhibition space Meter, in Copenhagen, DK. The exhibition was called Shaking the Habitual and centered around the question: What is your feminist Utopia? Struggling with the concept utopia and its inherent unattainability, I made a set of works that attempt to describe a form of utopia that is not just attainable, but an actuality—that has begun. One where patriarchy already is a ruin, where the dystopian cannot be separated from the utopian, and where the duality organic/synthetic, nature/culture is evaporating along with the idea of the human as the central figure.
